Take a hike to Roaring Spout to experience exceptional views of the Atlantic Ocean, or to nearby Camden Hills State Park to picnic on Mt. Battie and hike Maiden Cliff. Drift Inn Beach is a lovely rock and sand beach between Tenants Harbor and Port Clyde, suitable for the kids. For an adventurous day, visit Monhegan Island with 17 miles of hiking trails and wildlife. Nearby Port Clyde is home to the famous Forrest Gump lighthouse, Marshall Point Lighthouse. A drive up or down the coast will take you to many more historical and landmark lighthouses. The St. George Peninsula is home to incredible artists, painters and sculptors.
