Lying on the shores of Lake Michigan and Lake Macatawa, an 1800 acre playground dotted with Victorian Cottages, Macatawa is a picturesque community with a long private sandy beach. A great destination for water-sports with many boat launches and marinas, spend the day fishing or creating memories on the lake waters.
Nearby Holland State Park has a beautiful beach with a pier and walkway along the harbor scattered with sailboats. Rent a stand up paddle or kayak to explore the waters. Visit Mount Pisgah, a towering sand dune near the park. Stroll the boardwalk and take the steps leading to the top of the dune with spectacular views of Lake Michigan, Lake Macatawa, marinas and Big Red, the National Landmark Red Lighthouse that marks the Holland Harbor Channel.
