Friendship

Friendship is a pretty village perched above a working lobster harbor. Located on the same peninsula as Cushing, Friendship is home to the Friendship Sloop, a boat originally used for fishing that is now used for recreational sailing. Visit the Friendship Museum to gain insight to the history of the Friendship Sloop and the town of Friendship. The islands of Friendship extend far out into Muscongus Bay and the Franklin Island Light sits at the tip of a series of islands. Just North of Friendship is the Nelson Nature Preserve, a 95 acre bird watchers paradise, with five miles of hiking trails.
