Mt Bachelor Ski Area for fantastic powder skiing

Mt Bachelor rises 3,300 feet to its summit at 9,065, and provides over 3,693 acres of skiable powder, is just the beginning of why people love their ski vacations in Bend. Mount Bachelor ski resort is a ski resort located in central Oregon, approximately 22 miles (35 km) west of Bend, along the Century Drive Highway. The ski runs are on the northern face of Mount Bachelor, a huge cinder cone volcano atop the Cascade Range. Behind Vail, Mt Bachelor is the largest ski resort by area and the second largest ski mountain in the US. As a destination ski resort, Bachelor has recently become the sixth largest of all ski resorts in the nation. But year after year, people return for the incredible weather and hospitality, the scenery and food, and yes, the beer.
